Brutus' Dream

I opened my eyes and found myself in an abandoned room. I looked around and all there was, was a window, no door. The room was getting smaller and smaller. I was scared for my life. I ran towards the window and noticed that the walls were about to crush me, I closed my eyes waiting for the worst and, to my surprise, the walls stopped. Now surrounded by walls and a window, I looked through. Through the window I saw Myself; it was a reflection. The Brutus in the window was mimicking me. He then turned around and walked away. He was talking to Caesar, Caesar was wearing the crown, and he was talking about his plans; something about Cleopatra. As my reflection talked to him, Caesar changed. Caesar turned into a serpent and slowly surrounded my reflection until his entire serpent body surrounded mine. Then slowly constricting me. Tighter. Tighter. Tighter. Tighter. Tighter. Tigh... I awoke!

Diary of a commoner!

Dearest Diary,

Today I had very good business in the general store! I made 3 denarii, in the mid-day alone. This was all because of the excitement that Sir Antony and Lord Caesar created. The excitement made an idea come to my mind, to create the Caesar sale! The excitement was about power, and our great leader making himself greater without raising his status. Sir Antony had, this mid-day, offered Caesar the crown! Although Caesar refused we were all very excited. He was offered it thrice and turned it down each and every time. Each one of these times we cheered and roared for him, with the spirit and support of a thousand men. But, I didn't fail to notice the restraint in his voice every time he did turn it down, but I still love him. I would easily give my life for him. Thanks to him, my family is with money, thanks to him, we are all alive. All of us commoners love Caesar, but I do wonder sometimes. Did we love Pompey more? If Caesar was ever to die, would we just love the next person, and then the next? Is that really loyalty, when you switch from Lord, to Lord? I did love Pompey, ay, I did, but I do believe that Caesar is a better leader. Hail Caesar! What am I thinking? There is nothing wrong with our leader! He is great, he is noble, he is brave! He is our leader and should be our king!

The Book in General.

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed this book because it was full of creativity, love, and a Little bit of suspense. My mom had been trying to get me to read it, but I thought the book wouldn't be good, this is why I didn't read it at first. Only when I needed to quickly find a library book at school is when I really started reading it. I started and found that I couldn't stop; the next book, then the next book, then the next. It was a great series, let alone book. The point that really caught me on was the relationship between Gilbert and Anne. I had to know. That's where the suspense came from. The creativity came from Anne. She was always on about something different in each scene, she had such a small mind yet big heart. The love came from Mathew and Marilla. They wanted a boy, but instantly was overpowered by the love and thankfulness of a little opinionated red-head. I highly recommend this book!

Anne Shirley

Anne Shirley is a creative little girl, that looks at everything in a different light than anyone else. She is creative because she uses her imagination a lot. Anne has named places that she thinks are beautiful, and creates stories in her head that are not true; even though she applies them in everyday life. Anne, loves to imagine what her perfect life would be like, she enjoys telling her imaginations to nobody that cares; which, brings us to our next characteristic. She is very independent. Anne doesn't care what anybody thinks of her. This little girl needs nobody else to make her happy. She only needs her imagination and her stories. Everyone in her town thinks she is weird, and abnormal because of her imagination, but she looks at it like it is her life; why have anybody else live it for you? This is the way life should be.

(@)Place...(:)Time... and (XD)Atmosphere!

Anne of Green Gables takes place in Avonlea, Prince Edward Island. Green Gables is referring to the area of which she lives in. This book is set in the early 1900's. I know this because in school, all of the kids are in the same room. They also have writing boards and chalk instead of having paper and pencils. In the book, all of the girls only wear dresses also. Now the atmosphere. The atmosphere of this story is cheerful. I think this because Anne ends up staying at Green Gables, even though Mathew and Marilla wanted a boy. All of Anne's dreams are also fulfilled in this book; all of her hopes and dreams, came true. It is such a happy book. She is so positive, and looking at everything in a good way, making everything happy. Everything that sucks in life, well, in the book she turns around and compares it to her old life; which is sad in a way, but mostly cheerful.

~Anne of Green Gables~

This book is about a little girl. She is adopted by 2 adults named Marilla and Mathew; these new parents originally wanted a boy. But ended up getting a little girl named Anne Shirley. Anne, is a very imaginative little girl who has been through tons. She looks at life in a very positive way. This girl has only one friend. Diane, is her name, she's called Anne's bosom friend (best friend). Anne, well, she gets teased a lot in school, because of her freckles;moreover, her fiery red hair. This, although, is only caused by a boy named Gilbert. Gilbert ends up liking her in the end. This is because she stood up for herself and hit him over the head with her writing board after he called her 'carrots'. She vows never to forgive him for doing that. Oh, didn't I mention? She is a bit hyperbolic.

L.M. Montgomery Basic Biography

This book was made my L.M. Montgomery. She has made many other book in this series alone. She has made about 33 books in total. She was born on November 30th 1874, and died at the age of 67 on April 24th 1942. She lived in Clifton, Prince Edward Island, which is also the setting of most of her books. Now called New London. She lived in Saskatchewan for some of her life, this is because her mother died and her father left her to be with her maternal grandparents, she went here to live with her dad and step-mom. After about a year, though, she went back to live with her grandparents. She completed school in Cavendish, and went to college at Prince of Wales College.
I think that she was a strong woman, with lots of passion. She went through all of that, her mother dying and her father abandoning her, and went and wrote approximately 33 books! I think that writing takes a lot of talent, and imagination. Especially one of this popularity. I love this book.
